Shanti Stupa


Shanti stupa is a budhist temple situated at the hill top of chanspa and holds the relics of the Buddha at its base which was enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama himself. Shanti stupa provides beautiful and panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. The sunrise and sunset view from here is commendable. Apart from this , it also has a religious significance. It symbols a tie between the people of Japan and that of Ladakh. It has being promoting Buddhism for about 2500 years.
