Zanskar


Zangskar is a well known river situated at Srinagar. It has an area of 2275 miles on which most of the himalyan peak relies. The region just nearby it does not allow trekking or steep climbing. This regions is mainly an irrigated one consisting of alpine and tundra as main vegetation. Whereas as the wildlife is diverse comprising of wolf, marmot , bear snow leopard ,kiang, bharal, alpine ibex, wild sheeps and goats and the lammergeier. Even though the region does not hold much population, it a great stamp of history which indicates the bronze age. Hindi and urdu are the most spoken language by the people of this region and they follow the Tibetian script. Tourism here is pretty well developed.
